The Lions regular season is over and the team is preparing for playoffs in hopes of winning their 2nd ever WCHC Championship. The Lions have never won the WCHC playoffs, with their only championship in a regular season undefeated season. The Lions finished 3rd in the WCHC this year, with a 6-4 conference record. The WCHC is one of the toughest leagues in the ACHA M2 and the Lions are looking forward to reaching top play level to win the Playoffs.
The Lions will face off against CSUN in the first round of WCHC playoffs, with the first game of the day at 11 AM. All games will be played at the Cube in Santa Clarita. The Lions are 3-0 against CSUN this season and the Lions hope to complete the season sweep.
With a win the Lions would play in the Semi-Finals on Saturday, likely at 7:30 PM. And if the Lions advance to the championship, they would play at 10:30 am on Sunday.
